Auction & Consignments Information

All Bidders are Welcome
  • All registered convention attendees will receive a bidder number at check in for the convention. A valid driver’s license must be presented to complete the auction registration.
  • The auction is open to the public. If you are attending and not registering for the conference, please arrive Friday for registration and obtain a bidder number.
Buyer’s Premium
No Buyer’s Premium (0%) for purchases made by:
  • Registered Convention attendees.
  • Individuals who consign or donate items for the Auction.

Other additional charges may apply:

  • A Five percent (5%) Buyer Premium will be applied to purchases by the individuals not
    registered for the Convention and buyers On-line.
  • NC Sales Tax of 7% will be added to any Buyer’s total purchases unless a valid tax
    exemption is presented at time of registration for the Auction.
Selling Fees

Commission Rates per consigned item are 15% of sale price and will be paid by the seller. IH or Case IH items preferred. Based on the quality of the item, affiliation to the IH brand, relationship to agriculture, etc., Auction item acceptance and grouping will be subject to the sole discretion of IHCNC42 and Rogers Auctioneers.

Donations

IHCNC42 graciously will accept donated items that meet the sale criteria. Funds raised from these items up for auction are an attempt to generate funds in support of the chapter’s ongoing philanthropic and operational efforts. Please consider contributing to a worthy cause as every little bit helps.

Consignments

Consignments will be received on site starting on Thursday March 19 from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm and Friday March 20 from 9:00 am until 1 pm. The auction will be advertised On-line via Rogers Auctioneers web site. Sellers are encouraged to take preview pictures. Again, there is No Buyer Premium for individuals that consign or donate items to the Auction, regardless of registration for the Convention.

Preview Pictures

IHCNC42 and Rogers Auctioneers will leverage the internet to create enthusiasm and value in the auction. Together they request and encourage sellers to submit pictures of the items donated or consigned. These pictures of accepted items will be posted for public viewing on Facebook and/or the webpages that support the auction. Check Out, Item Pick up, General Questions

Buyers must pay and check out at the end of auction. Good Check or Cash are naturally accepted. If paying with a credit card, the 3% fee charged by the credit card companies will be added to the purchase price. Purchased items must be removed by noon on Saturday March 21st, unless other arrangements been made. On-line Bidding

On-line bidding will occur in unison to live bidding. On-line registration is required via the Rogers Auctioneers website. Link for Rogers Auctioneers is “rogersauction.com”

Shipping

For on-line purchases, credit cards will be billed at sale price plus Buyer Premium plus 3% of the total to cover credit card fees. Billing will occur at auction close. Rogers Auctioneers can manage the shipping of smaller On-Line purchases later in the following week. Charges to ship will be actual cost to ship plus handling fee for Rogers Auctioneers to handle/transport from the Convention to Rogers’ Facility, pack and ship.
